Construction Traffic Management

Managing traffic at a construction workplace is an important part of ensuring the workplace minimises risk to health and safety. Vehicles including powered mobile plant moving in and around a workplace, reversing, loading and unloading can often be linked with injuries to workers and members of the public.

Managing traffic hazards at a construction workplace and on nearby roads is an important part of minimising risks.  If such potential hazards cannot be eliminated then the layout of the worksite can be designed to minimise interactions.  This is best achieved by careful planning and controlling vehicle operations and pedestrian movements at the workplace.

TTPP assist contractors in the planning and implementation of Construction Traffic Management Plans and have suitably qualified staff to prepare such plans.
