Transport & Traffic Modelling

TTPP specialise in simulation modelling and our staff are experienced in using packages such as AIMSUN, Paramics, LinSig, and SIDRA.   TTPP modellers are continually using these modelling packages and keeping up to date with the latest software advancements.

TTPP has developed and used well over 500 simulation models to test the effects of traffic impact on the road network producing both numerical and visual outputs for a variety of evaluation and display purposes.

Our staff are trained in traffic engineering which ensures that both inputs and outputs are logical and give sensible results.

Projects

Some recent projects
  • 11Transport modelling Macquarie centre

    Macquarie Centre Expansion Traffic Modelling

TTPP was engaged by City of Ryde Council to conduct an audit and assess traffic models prepared by another transport consultant. The study involved a review of the AIMSUN model, road hierarchy and the traffic generation and distribution. This project included the delivery of audit findings, used to guide the client and external consultant in […]
  • 11Transport modelling Goulburn

    Goulburn Traffic Model

TTPP was responsible for the development and delivery of the Goulburn Traffic Model. The study involved a review of the current traffic and transport conditions and the preparation of microsimulation models used to assess conditions on Hume Street under a “do minimum” scenario, over the next 20 years. The study also identified the impacts of […]
  • 11Transport modelling parramatta lightrail

    Parramatta Light Rail Stage 1

TTPP was responsible for undertaking the traffic assessment of Parramatta Light Rail Stage 1. This project assessed the effects of light rail on general traffic with a special focus on light rail performance optimisation. This project also included the preparation of Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) priority principles for all intersections, in order to minimise light […]
  • 11Transport modelling WestConnex

    WestConnex Stage 3A

TTPP was responsible for developing and delivering all microsimulation models (VISSIM) for this project. The project included development of VISSIM traffic models, identifying necessary road link and intersection upgrades, providing advice regarding fleet composition, weaving movement, and lane configuration.
