Travel Plans

A Green Travel Plan is a package of measures implemented by an employer to encourage more sustainable travel for the journey to and from work and also during the course of work.  It is a means for an organisation to reduce the use of cars by staff, particularly driving to and from work and for work related travel.

Green Travel Plans are frequently required for the purposes of development applications for both residential, commercial and educational developments, They are especially necessary when a reduction in traffic generation and car parking requirements is sought.

TTPP staff were instrumental in the formation of travel plans when working overseas and have above 25 years of implementing such plans often as the Travel Plan Co-Ordinator or when working on travel plan working parties.
